Official VCD  — 7 working days (vacation count down if you haven’t been paying attention).  Spring/summer burn out is playing havoc with my whole well-being and kinda screwing up my Karma. Everyone has gone to Oxford today. It’s not a pleasure trip — I understand there are several jobs that need to be tended to over there. Maybe someone else can get a camera so I can get some photos of what goes on over there in neverland. Out in the shop we have our occasional helper Doug fabricating a piece for his roller furling which has been out of production for years.

And here is what he is fabricating — an insert out of a big block of some sort of space age plastic that someone gave him and that he couldn’t identify. He did report it was as hard as metal!

From the workshop For lack of real content today I thought I would share one of my Apothecary Jars (Bud Jars).  This was made out of some of the spalted Hackberry that I made the bowl out of a while back. The photo doesn’t do it justice, it’s a beautiful piece.
