I seem to be mostly alone today and don’t know why. I think the crew may have gone to Oxford but I’m not sure. This is just like Friday when I was the only one working. Thank god for beer! I did find the sea gulls having a get together out on the docks this morning.  

If you just have high rubber on your decks, you can simply slice it flush with a good sharp chisel and end up with a nice smooth deck. It is important to take the high spots off to keep from damaging the seams by walking on the rubber which bends it over and releases the seal from the teak.
