They say “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” so I did not get too annoyed when I found a paraphrased copy of my engine make-over article on this site: http://marinefuel.com/best-way-to-paint-marine-engine/ and they did give Dickerson a source link on the page (but not me!). Here is the original from our service log. As a “revealed secret” we have found that Moeller Sea Foam white is so close to CAT white that they are virtually interchangeable and with a price tag at about 1/3 of the cost of CAT paint it is a definite go except for the absolute purist.
