I’m not sure if you can see it in this photo but we are blessed with a skim of ice on the creek this morning – justifying the winter storage and winterizing effort. This little Crosby Tug came in for storage yesterday. A bit different from what we usually see in for storage! We actually started a polish job today since the haul out crew is almost out of boats to haul. The temperatures are supposed to be back in the mid-50’s today which will be fine for polishing. If you have a bow thruster, try to move those props a lot or you will end up with a situation like that below. These were coated last spring but have barnacled up pretty heavy. This year we are going to remove the props and apply more coats of the zinc coat on them.
