Cora Cat 48 Power Catamaran
The Cora Cat 48 power cat is entering the catamaran world as an entry level model from PMG Shipyard, Thailand which is associated with the highly innovative Silent Yachts. This power cat from PMG is potentially a new model for The Oxford Yacht Agency and associates, previously former Grand Banks and Eastbay Dealers. Our work building out the new Chesapeake Bay Catamaran Center in Trappe, Dickerson Harbor MD is the perfect fit for this new cat.
Cora Cat 48 has rudders in a skeg at the end of the keel, like a trawler
Cora Cats are seeing service in Australian waters with over 36,000 miles of coastline. Cruising there is very special being out on the blue water in kind seas and a gentle swell, cruising to a distant port. Australia’s thousands of secluded beaches, excellent fishing grounds, pristine dive sites and navigable rivers make the coastline a perfect power catamaran cruising location. The conditions are very similar to the USA East Coast, Caribbean waters, and the Pacific Northwest. The perfect places for a Cora Cat 48.
The Cora Cat is like the Grand Banks and Eastbay models as she is fundamentally designed, engineered and outfitted to be a “dependable diesel cruiser” for long term boating lifestyles.
Featuring a luxurious layout with daunting seaworthiness, singular security for occupants in all conditions while providing an ultra-quiet and livable platform. Outstanding visibility in changing conditions including darkness, high heat, wet and cold environments the Cora Cat will perform well for American Families.
