Boat Repower

The WHOLE STORY:

In 2021 John Shannahan, owner of the Oxford Yacht Agency, bought a SeaRay 40 to use as a tow boat for his boatyard, Dickerson Harbor, in Trappe MD. He also used this boat to tow the 40′ Beneteau 1-Ton “Airmail” to and from races.

The engines were remanufactured by Cummins a few years before the purchase and proved to be in wonderful shape–NO smoke, NO oil consumption, and NO fuel or water leaks. Oxford Yacht Agency ordered many engines of this model for Grand Banks yachts we sold in 1991 and onwards.

We are offering the engines For Sale complete with ZV 220 gears in a 2:1 ratio, the shafts, synchronizer, mufflers, two 140 gal fuel tanks, Racor 900 fuel filters, gauges, props, rudder and shafts.

The great thing about this sale is the engines can be proven during a sea trial using a Cummins trained technician to conduct the testing.
