Here it is again – Friday! We did have a “smattering” of snow last night and a bit more dusting this morning – and that’s quite enough!
A couple of wrap up shots from the week. The first is the project over in Oxford. Someone actually brought a camera over with photos from the work they are doing. I’m just going to share a couple. In these photos, we bypassed the existing muffler in the boat and ran an exhaust hose overboard through the transom. The boat currently has a smaller muffler and hose which exhausts underwater. We did this to test the back pressure on the engine compared to a more traditional systems.

You can also watch a video of the Blow-By test. I did not shoot this and the quality is a bit sub-par, but I offer it up by request.
I also wanted to show a better shot of the cabin sole in the Island Packet. The shot I found on the other camera was of much better quality than the one I took.
Anything can happen Friday
Am I dedicated or what? I did some research on various boatyard blogs. Here are some I found via google using the term “boatyard blog“. None of the ones I looked at had any real information about the yards. Amazingly enough – we have the top 4 spots on that search term!
