Charter a Grand Banks 49’ Motor Yacht
Currently we are unable to offer Island Girl for charter. Island Girl is representative of the boats we add to our charter fleet at different times.
Owner’s Stateroom (aft) port side with Island queen bed, “Hereshoff” style teak interior with bureau, hanging locker, desk, nightstand, teak parquet sole, and overhead 12V lighting and 110V lighting. There are windows that open on three sides of this cabin, and there is 16,0000 BTU air conditioning.

Saloon looking forward to helm, galley, and windshield. Tasteful “Hereshoff” style décor with hand built teak cabinetry and parquet sole throughout. The Saloon has a large “L” settee, teak yacht table with folding leaves, 2 GB chairs with ottomans, television, and stereo speakers. An overhead teak handrail runs the length of the cabin. There are large opening windows with screens, and air-conditioning as well.

Galley with upper- lower refrigerator/freezer, double stainless steel sink, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and range with oven. There is ample storage in upper and lower cabinets and drawers.
Lower helm station with GB teak wheel, dual engine controls and instrumentation, chart plotter, compass, and overhead electronics garage with VHF, auto pilot, etc.
Island Girl has 2 full heads with showers in the Owner’s Stateroom. Both heads have cultured marble sinks and countertops, teak joinery, opening windows, and ample storage.
The starboard side head has a generous linen closet, shower stall, and parquet sole. There is teak grating on the sole in the shower stall.
The port side head has an integral shower and a teak grating sole to prevent slipping. There is a compact washer/dryer in this head as well.
Forward stateroom with full size berth, hanging locker, overhead hatch, opening windows, storage drawers beneath berth, an a bookshelf. There is an overhead ventilated hatch, which really scoops air into the boat when at anchor. But don’t worry, there is air-conditioning in here as well!
The forward head has a cultured marble sink and countertop, shower stall, teak parquet sole, opening window, storage below and behind the sink.
The port side forward cabin has two single berths with ample storage drawers beneath. There is a hanging locker, overhead lighting, opening windows, an overhead hatch, reading lamps, a bookshelf, and air conditioning.
Grand Banks 42 Motor Yacht Deckplan
Island Girl has painted fiberglass decks with non-skin. There is a flybridge deck and an aft deck, wide side decks and good working room on the foredeck.
Island Girl has the typical GB anchor platform with twin capstan windlass. The Bruce anchor is on-chain rode, the Danforth is on a chain to rope rode.
Flybridge with upper helm station, electronics locker, bench seating, and a bimini for sun protection.
