The interior of this Grand Banks 32 had much veneer damage due to moisture, window leakage, UV and other age-related damage. As you could guess, removing and gluing on new veneer would be cost-prohibitive. The most efficient route is to install 1/4″ teak plywood over the existing damage. The trick to this is to pattern everything correctly. The trim will also need to be modified to accommodate the extra thickness.
We are also able to repair small areas on Grand Banks helm dash and other areas with our special veneer stock which was procured from Grand Banks years ago and no longer available.
